These meetings are an ideal way to stay in touch with fellow ramblers, even if you are unable to walk in the morning, please do join us.
The Autumn colours are glorious just now, there is something very special about walking through woodlands with that earthy smell and a carpet of leaves to kick around. The ground hasn’t been too bad either although we have walked through the odd few muddy field!
Our walks this month have taken us as near as Wing, Great Brickhill and Ashridge and as far as Epping Forest, Amersham and Steeple Claydon. We really do have a varied walks programme and are often joined by walkers from other rambler groups. Next month we have a lot of walks closer to home, but we will also be visiting Whitwell, Flitton and Hardwick.
Please keep checking the walks programme as last-minute changes are sometimes made and don’t forget to get in touch with Karen V if you would like to lead a walk!
Our Archery taster day was a great success, and we must thank the Dunstable Bowmen for looking after us so well. Our evening with “Billie Lee” was also a lot of fun with a packed house, cakes worthy of Bake Off and some excellent dancing!
This year’s Leighton/Linslade Christmas Tree Festival will take place between 22nd - 24th November in St Barnabas church, Linslade. Do come along and see the LB Ramblers tree on display!
